It can be difficult to know what to say to someone when they are grieving – you may not know what to say and therefore shy away from saying anything at all.
Over the last few years we have created a number of short films to illustrating an honest look at bereavement as well as how reaching out to support people can be simple and life-changing.
Our #IWontGoQuiet campaign encourages people to reach out to friends, family or colleagues when they have been bereaved, rather than going silent on them. Supporting people does not have to be as hard as you think it is – a simple phone call, a card or just saying ‘I’m sorry for your loss’ can make all the difference to someone when they are grieving.
Our latest campaign film, supported by famous comedian Russell Howard, won a Charity Film Award in March 2017. You can see it below.
