Stand up for The Loss Foundation – 9th December 2021

Union Chapel regulations

Union Chapel is looking forward to welcoming you for this upcoming performance.

Whilst legislation has changed, we are adopting government guidance and continuing with various measures to make sure our venue is a Covid-secure space for you to enjoy events in once again.

Events are now being sold to full capacity. Following the Government guidelines, we have made
changes in our venue, to ensure our venue is Covid-secure.

Please remember, it is important you do not attend if:
• You believe you may be infected with COVID-19
• Have experienced symptoms in the last 10 days
• Been in close proximity to anyone who has experienced symptoms in the last 10 days
• Have arrived in England in the last 10 days from a country where UK quarantine restrictions
apply
• Have been instructed to self-isolate.

Do I need to show Covid status on entry?
As a responsible venue operator, it’s our policy to require all customers to show their Covid-19 Pass.

This means that to gain entry to the show, you and anyone else you’re attending with will need to demonstrate one of the following:

• An NHS Covid-19 Pass on the NHS app demonstrating full vaccination (full vaccination means
you have received both doses, plus 14 days must have passed since the second dose). Find out how to set this up on the NHS app here.

• A negative NHS Rapid Lateral Flow Test registered online, taken within 24 hours of the show date. Customers that have taken a Lateral Flow Test will need to demonstrate their negative result
by showing the email or text confirmation sent to them by the NHS, once the test result has been registered online here.

Please have these set up ready in advance of arriving so that we can welcome you in to the venue quickly.

If you will be showing proof of a negative NHS Rapid Lateral Flow Test, you must register the result online before arriving at the venue.

To do this, follow the steps on the Gov website here. If you
haven’t done this before you arrive, you will be asked to leave the queue and return once you have received an email from the NHS confirming the result has been registered.

If you, or anyone in your party, is unable to show one of the above entry requirements, that person will be asked to leave the queue and only return once they have taken and registered a negative NHS Rapid Lateral Flow Test.

We can’t supply customers with NHS Rapid Lateral Flow Tests at the venue. To find a list of pharmacies near you where you can pick up free tests, click here.

This is our venue policy, and is in place to protect our staff and allow us to keep our venue open throughout the autumn/winter season. By showing your Covid-19 Pass, you’re doing your bit to keep
live music operating.

Audience capacity
Events are being sold to full capacity of 900 people in the Chapel.

Queuing
You may need to queue when you arrive at the venue.
Please have your tickets and COVID-19 status certification ready before you arrive.

If you choose to display your ticket(s) on mobile, remember to have them ready for scanning with the brightness turned up to minimise queuing.

Will I need to wear a face covering?
We recommend and expect that visitors continue to wear face masks during your visit, particularly when you are moving around the building or speaking with members of staff.

Official government guidance states that the government “expects and recommends that face coverings are worn in crowded and enclosed spaces and when mixing with people you don’t normally meet.”

If you are exempt from wearing a face covering, please download an exemption badge to your phone, or print a copy off.

Hand sanitiser
We will have multiple hand sanitiser stations throughout the venue and encourage customers to use these regularly. All customers will be required to use our hand sanitiser station in the foyer when
they enter the venue.

Ventilation
Union Chapel is a large, airy space, and is naturally well-ventilated by its historic yet pioneering design benefits from a Victorian ventilation system for the entire chapel, which allows fresh air to
circulate constantly through the chapel.

Additional Cleaning
We will continue to have additional cleaning in place before and between events.

Bar & Refreshments
Our bar will be open for this performance, pre-show from 7pm and during the interval. The bar will be closed after the interval.
Please note, the bar will be operating card payments only, cash payments are not possible at this time. Alcohol consumption will be limited to the bar area only, it is not permitted to take alcohol to the
main chapel space. An array of soft drinks and snacks will also be available and are permitted in the main space.

Re-entry
Union Chapel operates a strict no re-entry policy.

Cloakroom
Our cloakroom is closed for these events.

Margins Café
