Learning to Manage Grief – Tea and Tips Grief Support Meeting

27 April 2022 @ 10:00 am12:00 pm

Welcome to Tea and Tips! Join our 2-hour grief support workshop online and bring your cuppa!

At The Loss Foundation  we are committed to providing the best support possible to those who use our services. We know it’s not a one size fits all when it comes to grief, and therefore we are always keen to learn if and how our support is beneficial.

People partaking in our online workshop will be invited to complete some questionnaires before and after the event – all of which are made anonymous.

The event will be led by one of our Clinical Psychologists and take an active therapeutic approach, which means it will involve some structured content focusing on specific aspects of grief.

Who is the workshop for?
The session is open to anyone bereaved by cancer or coronavirus.

This event is for people aged 18 and over. Please get in touch with us if you are looking for support for children so we can signpost you to other organisations.

Do I have to pay for it?
No, like all our services, the support is free. But there are limited spaces available so we recommend signing up as soon as possible. If the event is booked up you can join a waiting list and we will let you know if a space frees up.

What does the workshop help with?
In this workshop we will be sharing some information with you that may help you in coping with grief. It will be a chance to meet with others and talk about loss, as well as a space to learn more about managing grief and the things that come with it (e.g. difficult memories). The content we will be covering has been found to help reduce distressing feelings of grief, anxiety, and depression.

How do I take part?
You can register to join the Tea and Tips workshop by clicking the Registration button below.

You will be sent an email with instructions for joining the video session and you can click in at the time of the meeting.

Please note that we are not a crisis service, so if you are in need of immediate support please do reach out to Samaritans who provide immediate listening support. They can be reached on 116 123.

We look forward to seeing you there!
