Online support group – All Coronavirus losses

Theme: This support group is open to anyone who has lost a loved one to coronavirus
Our charity has introduced support for people who have lost a loved one to coronavirus. We know that these are extremely difficult times and we are here to help.
We have been running cancer specific bereavement support for coming on 10 years, and we have seen first-hand just how beneficial it can be to connect people to others who have experienced a similar loss. So we are now offering the same online and telephone support to those affected by coronavirus.
Groups will be run in much the same way as they are in person with facilitation by our brilliant volunteers. To ensure that the groups run as well as possible online we will be limiting the number of people able to join the session. We have three times as many people signing up for each group than there are spaces. We know it is difficult to predict how you will feel on the day itself, but please only complete registration if you think you will be able to attend.
This event is for people aged 18 and over. Please get in touch with us if you are looking for support for children so we can signpost you to other organisations.
How will this work?
Join our online bereavement support group for all losses to coronavirus on Thursday 28th October 2021 from 7:00-8:30pm.
You can register to join the online support group by clicking the Registration button below.
You will be sent an email with instructions for joining the video and you can click in at the time of the meeting to get started and meet others.
Much like our in-person sessions, our online support groups are informal and welcoming, and the space is there for you to use it as you need it on the day. Our excellent volunteers will be there to welcome you online and support you.
Running groups online is new for us and we are keen to make the experience as inclusive and beneficial as possible. We will send all participants a short survey after the session to get their feedback so that we can improve our services for all. Thank you for your patience and contributions.
