Picnic get-together for people bereaved by cancer
August 13 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
On Saturday 13th August we will be hosting an in-person get together for those bereaved by cancer, in the form of a picnic.
Grief can be a lonely experience and the aim of this picnic is to help people connect with others who have experienced a loss of a loved one to cancer.
We will be providing some food bits to snack on and you are welcome to bring some bits of your own.
Where are we having the picnic?
We will be hosting the picnic in Regents Park, London.
The nearest stations are Regents Park, Baker Street, Warren Street, Great Portland Street, and Kings Cross.
We will send an email with details of our meeting point within the park nearer the time.
What are the timings for the day?
The event will run from 11am to 1pm (UK time). You are welcome to drop in anywhere within that time but we encourage you to be on time so you do not miss out on opportunities to meet more people. People are also more than welcome to stay on after 1pm!
What if it rains on the day?
We will be monitoring the weather closely nearer the time and will aim to meet unless it is a very rainy day. If this happens the event will be rescheduled.
This event is for people aged 18 and over. Please get in touch with us if you are looking for support for children so we can signpost you to other organisations.
How do I take part?
You can register to join the picnic by clicking the Registration button below.
You will be sent an email with instructions for joining the event.
If you have registered and not received a confirmation email please check your spam folder. If you can still not find anything please get in touch by emailing at email@example.com
See you there!
