About this event
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a third wave approach to that stems from traditional behavior therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, and includes mindfulness approaches.
ACT aims to help people develop psychological flexibility, which in turn helps them build a resilience to difficult thoughts and feelings. Psychological flexibility encompasses emotional openness and the ability to adapt your thoughts and behaviors to better align with your values and goals.
This webinar will cover:
– An introduction to the ACT approach
– The six core processes that promote psychological flexibility
– How to embrace the ACT approach when supporting people in their grief
– Case studies and exercises
