Grief Workshops

learn more about loss and how to cope with all that arises from it

Our Grief Workshops offer a safe space for those who have lost someone to cancer, and can be thought of as single session ‘slices’ of therapy which focus on a specific aspect of grief.

How are Grief Workshops different to the current support groups?

Our current support groups are peer grief support groups, which are unstructured and based on the needs of those who come along on the day.

Our Grief Workshops are led by Clinical Psychologists and present structured content focusing on a specific aspect of grief or other associated difficulty; for example, difficult memories, troubled sleep, anxiety. The sessions are aimed at helping people learn more about loss and how to cope with all that arises from it, as well as helping them make stronger connections with others in a similar situation.

Who are Grief Workshops for?

Our Grief Workshops are for anyone who has lost a loved one to cancer.

This service is focused on helping people understand and manage grief and all that can arise out of it. For example, if someone is struggling with difficult memories, anxiety, troubled sleep, guilt, low mood, lack of motivation, isolation, and more, our workshops may be right for them.

When will the next Grief Workshops take place and where?
