We know that grief is life-altering but that grieving in the face of a pandemic can be even more isolating and lonely. I wanted to reach out to remind you that The Loss Foundation continues to be here for you during these difficult times.
Over the last 20 months we have expanded our support exponentially, shifting from running 2 events a month to an average of 15 a month, for people bereaved by cancer or coronavirus. This year alone we have supported over 1000 people at our events.
I am extremely proud of our small charity for being so responsive, but I know there are so many more people who need our help. When my Father died in 2008 there was no support for my family, and that remains the reality for many thousands of people across the country. I am committed to doing everything we can to change that so nobody has to hear the words “we can’t support you”.
We simply cannot do this without financial support.
We have launched a Crowdfunder campaign to raise money for our bereavement therapy groups. These allow us to provide people with specialist support over a number of weeks, helping them manage all of the difficulties that arise in the face of loss. It is where we can make a big difference.
Please consider donating to help us do what we do. In these challenging financial times, it really is the case that a small donation will make a huge difference. And all donations up to £250 will be matched by the National Emergencies Trust Local Action Fund.

Thank you for your continued support.
We are always here for you.
With love,
Erin
