Our organisation is made up of psychologists, doctors and other healthcare professionals who are trained in mental health support and specialise in bereavement care.

We provide training courses and professional consultation for other organisations in the public and third sector, including the NHS, and helping others support those who are grieving.

All of our support is based on compassion; helping people be more self-compassionate during a difficult time.

Training in the workplace

Given that all of us will be bereaved at a point in time, workplaces undoubtedly need systems and support strategies in place to help their staff when they are grieving. Research has consistently shown that lack of support in the workplace when grieving can have many negative effects for individuals and companies.

We are offering a package of expert guidance for companies to learn from so they can handle delicate situations with the highest standard of care in the workplace. All of the content is developed by Clinical Psychologists who specialise in bereavement support and involves sharing psychological models of grief so that you can better understand your employees’ experiences and difficulties. We are here to help you and your company.

Campaigning and Education

It can be difficult to know what to say to someone when they are grieving – you may not know what to say and therefore shy away from saying anything at all. Our #IWontGoQuiet campaign encourages people to support those they know who are grieving rather than going silent on them.

Over the last few years we have created a number of short films to illustrating an honest look at bereavement as well as how reaching out to support people can be simple and life-changing.

Consultation work

We have experience providing consultation on a variety of different projects involving loss. We have consulted on television documentaries, dance and art performances, book writing, and more.

We also carry out work consulting on bereavement support with other organisations in the third sector, including cancer charities such as Macmillan. It is our pleasure to share our knowledge and experience of working with people who are grieving so that we can better inform the support that is provided across organisations in the UK.

If you or your company would like some consultation work provided by our in-house specialists, please fill out the contact form at the end of the page.

Our Clinical Psychologists have provided professional opinions and advice on a number of radio and television shows, including work with the BBC, Sky’s My Channel, and Living the Life on Sky Arts.

Having worked and supported people who are bereaved by cancer for 7 years we are well placed to speak about what loss can entail despite it being an individual experience for all. We are able to share information on the unspoken consequences and symptoms of grief, including the risks for mental health difficulties, and we can highlight the importance of getting support.
