We are delighted to share that we won the Charity Film Award for our grief support campaign film, IWontGoQuiet. We would like to offer a huge thank you to all of you who voted for our film to win the Peoples’ Choice Award. Alas, we did not win that award! The Peoples’ Choice Award went to a very deserving charity, the Soi Dog Foundation. Instead we won the judges vote for our film in the category of charities with an income of between £10,000 – £100,000.
We are beyond elated to have won – not because we made the film with very little budget and edited it ourselves at home, not because the look on our faces was priceless when we won, not because we now have a trophy… but because we are unbelievably proud of our team who pulled together to make a heartwarming film that inspires others to reach out to their loved ones when they are grieving.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the beneficiaries who shared their story in our film; Peter Osborn, Sue-Ellen Horrocks, and John Merivale. Thank you for your openness.
