Losing a parent to cancer is a profound experience that deeply impacts every aspect of life. Join us on Sunday, 8th December 2024, for our Sunday Sanctuary, a compassionate and supportive day dedicated to making space for grief and connecting with others who have experienced similar losses.
This in-person event is specifically for adults who have lost a parent to cancer. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed or seeking ways to adapt to life without your loved one, this sanctuary is designed to meet you wherever you are in your bereavement process.
Please note, we will be hosting similar events for other types of losses in the near future.
What to expect:
- Support Group Space: Engage in heartfelt discussions facilitated by our brilliant and compassionate volunteers.
- Gentle Guidance: Receive support and understanding from others who share your journey.
- Short Meditation Exercises: Participate in brief relaxation-focused meditations to help you find calm.
- Tea and Tips: Join a Q&A session with our Clinical Psychologist, who will address common challenges of grief, such as troubled sleep and guilt.
- Informal Connection Time: Enjoy moments to interact and share with other attendees outside of the facilitated sessions.
