Sun 29th Sept 2024 – Sunday Sanctuary: A Day of Compassion and Connection

Losing a partner to cancer is an experience that profoundly impacts every aspect of life. At our Sunday Sanctuary on 29th September 2024, we’ll offer a safe and supportive space for you to connect with others who understand.

Please note, we will be hosting similar events for other types of losses in the near future.

What to expect:

  • Compassionate community: Share your experiences, find comfort, and build connections with others who have walked a similar path.
  • Gentle guidance: Our experienced volunteers will facilitate supportive group discussions.
  • Short Meditation Exercises: Short meditation exercises focused on relaxation rather than deep meditation.
  • Tea & Tips: A Q&A session with a Clinical Psychologist to address common challenges of grief.
  • Time to reflect: Enjoy quiet moments for personal reflection or informal chats with other attendees.

When and where:

  • Date: Sunday, 29th September 2024
  • Time: 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Location: Colet House, London, W14 9DA (easily accessible by tube and with free parking)

We believe that everyone should have access to support, regardless of their financial situation. Therefore, we operate on a Pay What You Can basis: £35 / £55 / £75. Your contribution helps cover the costs of the event and allows us to continue offering this valuable support.

Practical information:

  • Snacks and drinks will be provided. Please bring your own lunch, or there are local cafes nearby.
  • The event is specifically for adults who have lost a partner to cancer.
  • Similar events for other types of loss will be announced in the future.

Join us for a day of healing and hope.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
