Dr. Erin Hope Thompson MBE, Founder and CEO of The Loss Foundation, is a leading grief expert and Clinical Psychologist.
Dr Erin Hope Thompson (BSc ClinPsyD) has a deep history in bereavement support. She provides consultation across the NHS, private sector, and third sector, creating impactful interventions and services that address the unique challenges of grief.
Through her work, Dr. Erin has designed and scaled strategic healthcare interventions aimed at providing equitable care and keeping the human aspect at the centre of grief support services. Her knowledge and experience in grief support have led to media contributions on loss, bereavement, and coping strategies.
Erin’s career spans various roles, including Lead Clinical Psychologist at Barts Health NHS Trust, Associate Clinical Tutor at UCL, and being a Winston Churchill Fellow.
