This September, Team TLF are lacing up their trainers and taking on the Vitality London 10K to raise £10,000 for The Loss Foundation.
Every mile we run will help ensure that people bereaved by cancer can continue to access free support groups – safe spaces to connect with others who truly understand.
At a time when demand for our services continues to grow, fundraising events like this make a huge difference. Every donation helps us continue providing compassionate grief support to people who need it most.
The impact of these groups is powerful. Participants tell us they leave feeling:
“Less alone”, “Hopeful”, “Understood”, “Comforted”, “Connected”, “Supported”, “Calmer”, “Accepted”, “Heard”, “Stronger” and “More able to cope”.
These are real words from real people who have attended our services.
Your support helps make these moments possible.
Meet Team TLF
Erin – Founder
In 2010, Erin founded The Loss Foundation after experiencing first-hand how difficult it was to find support following the death of her father. Today, she leads the charity with the same mission: ensuring nobody has to face grief alone.
Shereen Sally – Support Services Manager
Shereen leads our Support Services, helping ensure Participants receive compassionate, high-quality support throughout their grief journey. Now she’s taking her support out onto the streets of London as part of Team TLF.
Shelley – Fundraiser
Shelley works tirelessly behind the scenes helping raise the funds that keep our services running.
Now she’s stepping away from the fundraising emails and onto the starting line herself — determined to help raise £10,000 for bereaved families across the UK.
Vikki Jessop – Trustee
As one of our Trustees, Vikki helps guide and support the charity strategically, ensuring we can continue growing our services sustainably and compassionately.
Now she’s taking on a different challenge — 10 kilometres through London!
Aoife Ryan – Volunteer
Aoife generously gives her time to support The Loss Foundation’s work and community.
She’s taking part in the Vitality Run to help ensure our support remains available to everyone who needs it.
Liam White – Volunteer
Liam is one of our valued volunteers, helping us create safe and welcoming spaces for bereaved people.
He’s joining Team TLF to raise awareness — and vital funds — for grief support.
Joey Biggs – Supporter
Joey is proudly supporting Team TLF and taking on the challenge to help raise money for people navigating grief after cancer loss.
Help Us Reach £10,000
Every donation, share, and message of encouragement helps us get closer to our goal.
Together, we can ensure nobody faces grief alone.
Thank you for supporting Team TLF in the Vitality London 10K.
