Training
By choosing The Loss Foundation to train your team, you don’t just improve the support you provide to your customers or staff – you make our grief support services possible.
Sponsor our Screen
Every year we laugh ’til our faces ache at the Union Chapel in Islington. Taking centre stage is a huge screen which sits in front of 900 people for the entire night. To find out about splashing your name across our screen, email: hello@thelossfoundation.org.
Gather a Team
Corporate fundraising is an amazing way to boost staff morale. Whatever challenge you fancy taking on – from running to riding, sky diving to a sponsored cake bake – we’d love to have you on Team TLF.

Cabaret vs Cancer
Forging one-to-one connection between individuals bereaved by cancer
Cabaret vs Cancer is a charity which raises money to support families affected by cancer. As well as cabaret shows and burlesque events in London and across the UK, they also host several charity auctions throughout the year to raise funds for a number of cancer-focused charities.
Cabaret vs Cancer first supported us back in 2020 – when we urgently appealed for funds via our ‘20 for 20’ appeal. This campaign received incredible support, and served as the start of a series of generous grants from Cabaret vs Cancer which fully funded our ‘Connect’ service – which matches individuals with a similar loss to talk and share their experiences. Many of those who use this service go on to form long term friendship with their connection.
“This email and telephone contact with another person in similar circumstances is very comforting. I find I cannot talk to most people as they expect you to just move and enjoy life again. Having to put up a front and a brave happy face is not how I feel”
Alpkit Foundation
Helping train volunteers for our rapidly growing ‘Walk and Talk’ events
The Alpkit Foundation make small awards to people, groups and schools that work to remove the barriers in getting outdoors and experience wild places. Their grant in 2022 contributed towards the training of our ‘Walk and Talk’ volunteers who hosted walks across the country; this training equipped volunteers with basic bereavement support skills, so they can support those who attend. In 2023, the foundation once again supported us – enabling us to continue to grow our ‘Walk and Talks’.
Among our ‘Walk and Talk’ volunteers is Ellie – who has experienced the services of The Loss Foundation…
“There must be people in my local community that maybe are in the same position and haven’t found the right place to speak. I want to help people – even if it’s one person, just to be able to ease that suffering and give someone that little outlet” – Ellie

How we’ll work with you

“The giving of a grant is an important decision, and I know trusts and foundations have expectations of how they want to work. As an organisation, we work to understand your expectations, ensuring a mutually beneficial partnership”
